Hard to Give opinion on

Pros:Great Writer
Cons:Not what I believe is his normal writing form
I loved the book Homing by John Saul.
I love John saul .
Even The right hand of Evil had its good parts.
This book really throws u for many loops
I really liked this book but it seemed to jumble around way to much.
As with any writer they
(seem to write so fast that the reader cannot keep up with what they are writing about)
Most of the time it can be a good thing when they seem to write fast because it makes you're heart skip, you start flipping pages at warp speed but you still are within the grips of of the story line without missing a beat.
Saul seemed to bounce around way to much in this book to really grasp it.
I mean it was a good book but a bit (mixed up)
Meaning you are reading one scene and five seconds later you're with a whole different set of characters and a whole set of different circumstances.
It was like this throughout more than half of the book.
I wish I could explain this better.
The Right hand of Evil is worth the read but it's not really a book that will keep you in suspense for long as soon as you get hooked he drops you into a whole different scene.
And particularly looses the reader at ever turn.
(you can keep up only if you keep you're mind clear of everything around you and release you're self to the book)
But in this day and age it is near impossible to be able to read a book complete without stopping.
If you don't try to read this book within a few days or if you stop for weeks at a time you will really have to start over reading because you would be lost if you went back to read the book where you stopped.
That's why I like Koontz he Does not bounce you around nearly as much and I don't find myself having to reread the book.
I don't mean to belittle Saul because I love his writing .
But this book just has you all over the place I don't think this is normal of his writing.
But if you're gonna read a Saul book go for it
I have read many of his books.
Here is a list of a few of what I can recall
Comes the Blind Fury
When the wind Blows (read this as a teenager)
Creature. Far Fetched but a page turner
Darkness.
Guardian.
The Presence. Odd but gripping
*And as stated above
The Homing.*
Each person has there own opinion of a book and I can see there are many people who have vast feelings about The Right Hand of Evil!
Let you're self decide don't let one persons opinion make you go against the book all together read more opinions.
Don't want to buy the book?
Get it at you're local library.
