Children's Book of the Month Club

I am sure most parents want to do what is best for their kids. I do. When I was pregnant with my first kid, I enrolled myself and our unborn child in a Club called The Children's Book of the Month Club. I bought all the books I had as a child and many new ones for a baby all the way up to his 8th year. Needless to say, we were stocked up. This took me the 3 year agreement and then some.

I enjoyed buying and choosing books. I really didn't like having to send in a card every month to stop the company from sending "The Child's monthly selection" if I didn't want a book. If for some reason, I couldn't find a stamp, or I just forgot to send in the card, I would see a few books I didn't order.

Their agreement states, when you sign up, send in the postcard they send with a catalog full of books and prices, checking the "do not send" box if you don't wish to buy books. Your agreement is usually for 2-4 years and you have to buy 4-6 books during that time.

I did enjoy the time I was with the company. By the time I had my second baby, I didn't need any books. So I canceled. I would recommend this group to people with children or grandchildren. The price of the books are reasonable, and the shipping isn't too bad. Thanks for reading. Cindy in San Diego.
