Oprah's Book Club

As an avid reader of all kinds of books I find that Oprah's Book Club is a fantastic idea. Oprah is like many millions of American's that love to read and she is fostering the idea for many more millions to become readers. I think that in today's society more people need to learn to read, and with this book club I think it is doing just that. I love the books that Oprah chooses because every single one of them are written with the express purpose of guiding our spirits to a better place. Every one of us has a spirit but it is up to us whether or not our spirit is in a good place. I have read almost all of the books that Oprah has recommended and truthfully I have had a hard time getting into some of the books but once I have gotten past the first few chapters I have not been able to put the books down. I have learned from each of the books, from becoming a stronger person to having more compassion for my fellow man. Each of us can learn something from the books that Oprah chooses and I highly recommend becoming part of Oprahs Book Club.
