E-books equal more freedom and more choices

Despite what everyone says or thinks about e-books, I think they are here to stay. E-books are a great medium for new and old writers alike. Why? Because the rules are changing. With the tried and true paper back publishers, most writers unless your super famous, have to stay within that publishing houses guidelines. What this means is when a writer has a story to tell, they often have to tailor it to fit what the publisher thinks will make money. In E-books, the authors are giving much more freedom. Tell a good well written story and give me a word count that will fit on a disk and go for it. Again what this means to an author is that finally we can tell our story our way. That in itself will shine through in the authors works and the readers will also love that same freedom.
I live in Michigan. Ever have your whole town close down for 3 days because there is 12 ft of snow outside and find yourself without something to do. Suddenly that e-book is looking better. I’ve bought 3 and read 2 of those so far and I love them. Yes, I do like paperbacks better, but e-books are quickly growing on me. I challenge you, check out some of the e-book publishers, find something that sounds interesting and give it a try. You’ve nothing to loose and many, many more choices in books to read.
