Ecampus.com is an online bookstore that boasts to be the world's largest college bookstore with over three million items.
While I've only bought one college text book here, I have bought several other types of books--and they do have a decent selection.
As with the book search engines on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble, Ecampus has a similar book search; one can search by title, author, keyword, or the ISBN number. I have noticed however, that on occasion,(two out of the six times I've visited) the search engine will not be working.
Ecampus offers the top 50 textbooks AND selected bestsellers at half off the list price. Other specials include 30% off of "new and noteworthy titles" (I have to admit I've never browsed that section) and 30% of of the 10 most popular titles among college students.
The biggest attraction for me, and perhaps a lot of other people is the FREE SHIPPING. Ecampus will always send your order free (UPS standard ground shipping) unless you otherwise specify an upgrade.
The only downside I have found with Ecampus, is that is a bit slow. The times I have ordered books, it has taken an average of a week and a half for the processing and shipping of the order. I don't mind though. I feel the free shipping is relatively worth the few days extra wait.
Other points of interest is that Ecampus has a book buy back program, though I think that it only pertains to college text books. I have also seen that they have their own auction...I will have to check that out sometime...
Ecampus sells fairly inexpensive books, they have a large variety, and they will ship for free. Can't go wrong here!
