Trixie Beldon Series - The BEST!

I know that almost everyone is familiar with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. When we grew up what child didn't read about their adventures? They even had a show on TV which helped children discovery the wonderful world of a children's mystery series. When I was ten years old a friend gave me a book for my birthday. It was a Trixie Beldon Mystery.
Trixie Who? Trixie Beldon. A.K.A the best little detective I've ever read about. Trixie and her best friend, Honey Wheeler, and their group of friends solve mystery after mystery in one of the best children's series I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
Kathryn Kenny started the series a long time ago. No, I don't know the year. I just know how much I loved reading about Trixie, her brothers, and their friends traveling from one adventure to the next, figuring out who done it. These kids had morals, values, and they stood together to battle ghosts, bad guys, and even a Sasquatch. They traveled sometimes but mostly, they found mysteries to solve closer to home. Not only did I fall in love with the books but the people in them.
I've passed my collection of Trixie Beldon books to my daughters. They love them as much as I still do. Even at my age, I still will sit down and read a Trixie Book from time to time. They are timeless classics. I never grow tired of reading the same series because they are so well written.
While they no longer are printing these books, I've found them in libraries. I've also found them at on line auctions. They stopped printing the books once before but ten years later they started printing them again. I'm waiting for them to do it again so I can buy two entire sets for my children. If you have never heard of Trixie Beldon, go to your local library and ask if they have them. Your children will love to read them if they are into mystery books. You might even get an addict on your hands. It only took one book for me to start collecting them all. They are my most treasured memories from my childhood.
