I own a tonne of books on topics ranging from Javascipt, to flash, html, dreamweaver and photoshop, and I must say, I really love the layout of this book. It's seperated in to 24 1 hour lessons designed to teach you how to learn to code javascript in the correct order. With other books, I'm always tempted just to flip through them to find the little bits I want, but with this, I'm learning in a very thorough way. I am truly a Javascipt novice as far as writing from scratch goes, and it's explained in laymans terms, and very easy to pick up. It's an excellent choice for the beginner.
