Tomorrow's Promise is a book that was written several years ago, although you would never know it. Many books "date" themselves with the language and other aspects but not this one. It's just another example of Sandra Brown's talent to bring a storyline to life.
This book deals with an extremely sensitive subject - the feelings, emotions, etc., of the wife of an MIA. This young wife discovered after 12 years that maybe she WAS entitled to some happiness. I wondered after reading this book if Sandra Brown had based this book on an actual person. The emotions the main character experienced were so real and true, that I actually felt those emotions. The confusion, temptation, weakness, disappointment and sadness were so very real in this book. I have read many of Sandra Brown's books, but I don't remember ever feeling so close to a character.
This is a "must-read" for all Sandra Brown fans.
