Use your own imagination?

Audio Books vs. Paper Books? Well, I have more paper books than audio, but I do have both. I enjoy audio books for driving or laying in bed with a head set. But nothing can really compare to an actual book to read on your own.

The audio books are good when your just too lazy or doing other things, while you listen to some one basically reading the story to you. It is still nice, having the story come to life and for you to enjoy the story and characters.

I do feel that you are not drawn into the story and characters as much as you are when you are silently reading a novel and letting your imaginations take over with the words. You get taken to a new place and live the story in your mind.

Both are good, but highly recommend reading a book in the quietness of your own mind is much better...but do not rule out the choice of getting an audio book and listening to it in a car or while you do other tasks.
