Pros: A perfect epic fantasy

Mercedes has done it again! 'The Elvenbane' is one of her better works. Along with Andre Norton, Mercedes has brought to life the elves and dragons with a twist, they brought along halfbreeds, human-elven off-springs. Shana is a character who you love and hate at the same time, which is just to say that her elven half has a typical elven attitude. The magic is there, making you rush to turn the page so you never want to put the book down. This is a must read for all Mercedes' fans and Andre Norton fans, a perfect addition to thier other collections.
