A Wrinkle in Time

In my opinion, the best science fiction series for young adults is "A Wrinkle in Time" written by Madeline D'Engle. In this series, the author explores some of the simple themes of the laws of physics and space. She adds to the young adult appeal by injecting the hunt for the children's father. This book does have something that any teen would look forward to reading.
In subsequent books, she also explores different themes and shows a good deal of creativity. This series of books is what first began my interest in science. She uses language that is easy to understand, and yet still inspires thought and interest for the reader.
