Seeing as I am such an avid watcher of The WWF (World Wrestling Federation) I decided that I would start reading the autobiographies of each wrestler that decided to publish one. First there was Mankind (aka Mick Foley), and his book was good, however it was extremely long and detailed.
Then came this book, The Rock Says. I had ordered it off the net, and once I received it, I started reading and was completely enchanted. I could not put it down. I was slightly disappointed that he hadn't actually written it himself, but I was extremely fascinated at how graphic he was describing the ins and outs of professional wrestling. As every avid fan knows, sure it is fake and it is all a matter of acting, but you just don't know how involved it is. I think that even if you are somewhat of a wrestling fan, you should read this book. Maybe the stereotypes of wrestling will stop and people will stop to realize that they aren't just actors, they are human beings who do actually have a heart.
