American Freightways Corporation is a scheduled, for-hire carrier of less-than-truckload shipments of general commodities, presently serving direct all-points in 32 eastern, midwestern, southeastern, and southwestern states. Through partnerships, AF also serves Alaska, Canada, Caribbean Islands, Central America, Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and South America.
Service with them is incredible, while the old boys at the top are still doing things the hard way, AF is moving into the 21st century with a gung ho attitude and a service product that is second to none. What this means to the customer is on time damage free delivery in every point AF covers ( 100% coverage in 32 states). Consider this....Chicago to Miami...be it one 10lb box or 20,000 pounds of your product....in 3 days or less. You can aslo get it guaranteed....by day of delivery or time of delivery for an extra fee. So....if you have it and need to get it there tomorrow or the next day, forget UPS with thier conveyors that drop the freight 3 feet to the next one....AF pays real people to hand carry your cargo to the next trailer leaving for its destination on a scheduled departure. Residential deliveries are also accepted and no job is too small. I have shipped AF before and will do so again. One restriction on South America though....they take no freight out of Columbia....for obvious reasons!
