Mac OS X... the next generation

Pros:eye catching interface
Cons:stability, bugs
Apple is looking to the new Mac OS X to power their computers into the next generation of computing but is this change really worth it to us loyal mac fans? The new system features a new eye pleasing interface but that's about it. The old trade marks of a mac system are gone... That's right, no more Finder or Apple Menu or even Control Strip. That makes navigating about this new OS a bit uncomfortable... There are several bugs in the program that include some stability issues when running "classic" applications. In addition to this the system requirements are quite heavy for a system that runs slower than OS 9. Although this new system features overhauled multimedia capabilities, and boasts the performance and stability of a UNIX based system, I simply don't feel that this is a smart move for us Mac folk at this time. I eagerly await the final release.
