GREAT PC, BUT....your not gonna believe this.....

I ordered a gateway performance 600 series back in December of 1999.
The day it arrived I got home from work and discovered I had received twelve boxes from them. Turns out they actually sent me two systems, A 600 system and a 500 system. I called my sales rep at gateway to figure out what happened. Of course(as many gateway customers are probably accustomed to) I got voice mail. Finally two days latter I got in touch with him. Long story short... Someone fat fingers an account number and I received the second system. So they said they would send pick up tags so UPS would pick up the other system.
One month went by... no pick up tags.
Two months went by,... no pick up tags.
Three months went by, guess what, no pick up tags.
So I opened up the second system to check it out. Next day I get a bill from gateway threatening my credit rating.
Finally after several correspondence, I got the pick up tags.+
They make a GREAT PC, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
