| ricosparx's Full Review: Dell Dimension XPS T500 |
I have been a Mac user for all of my life up until a few months ago when I started college. I was very reluctant to switch from a Mac to a PC, and had sworn that I never would. However I had to be realistic and to get the most "bang for my buck" I decided to get a PC. I did a fair amount of research not knowing anything about PCs and found Dell to be the best company. Their prices were good, their service was excellent and the features were appealing. When I got mine they had a special and upgraded my CD-ROM drive to a DVD drive for free. So I went with Dell and got a Dimension XPS T550 with a DVD and CD-RW drive. In the package I got it came with: 17" Trinitron monitor, Altec Lansing speakers with subwoofer, and a HP DeskJet 882C all for just $2500, much cheaper then a comparable Mac for just the computer part and nothing else. Personally I love playing computer games and it is the perfect machine for that. I have a Voodoo3 graphics card which helps in the gaming of course. I would recommend this computer to anyone who wants a really good computer at a really good price.
