| mfrye's Full Review: Dell Latitude Cpi A366XT |
I have been using by Dell Latitude CPi for about a month now and I haven't had any problems. I have upgraded the memory and moved to Windows 2000 and with a 266MHz processor and 128MB of RAM this baby cooks. Dell has really come a long way since I had a Dell Latitude XT 486 a few years ago.
One of my favorite features is the hot-swappable CD-ROM and floppy drives. Sure you could insert the CD-ROM and use the cheesy cable for the floppy, but why? When I am on the move and need to get work done fast on a train, plane, or in the back of a company car with co-workers speeding to the next meeting upfront, the Dell Latitude CPi is agile and able.
What's more is that the Dell Latitude CPi has ports galore. With infrared, USB, and the standard serial and parallel ports, I can connect to just about anything. The Dell Latitude CPi also sports two PCMCIA slots for my MODEM and LAN card.
Dell has improved the Latitude line with bigger screens and more durable cases so this machine can take a beating. Whether it's in O'Hare airport or in my home, the Dell Latitude CPi does the job without hesitation.
