Here is what's good and bad about Yahoo!Mail
Good:
1) A clean intuitive interface
2) Address Book -- Yahoo!Mail has an integrated address book. It allows you to store e-mail addresses and detailed info about friends and contacts.
3) Integrated with MyYahoo! -- If you have a customized yahoo page (MyYahoo!), it will let you know when you have unread mail in your mailbox.
4) POP Mailbox Options -- Yahoo!Mail allows you to link external mail accounts. For example, I can check my work e-mail from home via Yahoo!Mail. You can link as many e-mail accounts as you want. This is an awesome feature!
5) Compatibility. More people use Yahoo!Mail than any other free e-mail system. This means you'll have fewer formatting and compatibility issues when sending and receiving your messages.
6) You can send entire web-pages with Yahoo!Mail. You're not limited to only sending the URL.
7) You can have your mail pre-sorted into user defined categories. For example, I have a family folder where all e-mail from family members is sent.
8) It's easy to attach files and objects to outgoing mail.
Bad:
1) Only 3 megs of space. Although you can pay yahoo a few dollars a month and expand your memory allotment.
2) You can't bold, underline, or change colors and fonts.
3) You can't import other address books into your Yahoo!Mail address book. This means you'll have to rebuild your address book in Yahoo!
4) Site tends to be down sometimes.
5) If you don't like banners and targeted advertisement, watch out. Over the past few weeks/ months, Yahoo! has been increasing their targeted ads on the Yahoo!Mail site.
