I've known about Alps printers for awhile now and I've held off in buying one to get some feed back on the product, Yes its a great printer and incredibly versitle on its media and output BUT, I've also heard and read that the MD-5000 has considerable problems on jamming and that the customer service dept. has alot to be desired. If anybody else can enlighten me on these areas it would be appreciated

ALSO can you use glossy inkjet paper thru the MD-5000?
AND what paper can anybody recommend?

I am looking to purchase this printer in the near future,
but with out the dye sub feature, I'm mostly interested in using this printer for the foils and how well does the MD-5000 software work with major graphics software such as CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop ???

Any and ALL feedback will accepted and taken into consideration !!
