Best Soundcard... And the price is right

asinine96's Full Review: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! Value Sound Card

I bought this product because I trust Creative. It was also the best sound card I could buy at the time. The Sound Blaster Live! Value replaced the regular Sound Blaster Live!. The Value now includes optical out, which is extremely convenient for copying music to a minidisk player, or hooking up your computer to a home theatre (which is fast becoming cheaper and better than the typical home theatre). The sound is superb and it is the best card I've used for gaming. I've used the A3d and the sblive has better sound and better 3d effects. It is best used with 4 speaker support, but it also can emulate 4 speaker support on any type of speakers. Another great thing is Creative is releasing Linux drivers for it. I give it a 5/5 stars.
