IBM 1422

About 2 weeks ago I bought an IBM 1422 just because I felt a need for a laptop. I'm not even sure why. Never wanted one until all of a sudden I just decided that I needed one. I really like it so far. I planned on using it for work mostly but that has yet to happen. It has turned into my internet system for the most part. I like the programable buttons, those are handy to have. My Gateway has those and I have become used to it. Mine only has 32Mg RAM and I would suggest more than that. It's a little slow if you are used to a real power house machine like I am. This 1422 so far has yet to cause me any trouble even though I bought it used. It has enough hard drive to do anything that I will ever use it for and it's got about 2 to 2 1/2 hours worth of battery depending on what I'm doing. More than enough time to get some quick work done before hunting for an outlet to plug into. I would recommend one to anyone wanting a decent laptop without spending a lot of money.
