| RobinMcM's Full Review: Micron Millenia Series |
I read reviews for almost two years before purchasing my Micron Millenia a year and a half ago. It replaced a three-year-old machine I had built from scratch, and which had served me very well. Having built my own machine, I was spoiled: it is extremely important to me to be able to specify each component. Although the stock system I started with would have been more than adequate, Micron worked with me to provide exactly the machine I wanted. The Millenia is completely reliable and does everything I want my computer to do: music and graphics editing, network conferencing, games, office work, everything.
Micron customer support is also outstanding. The computer had a minor problem, to which they responded within a few hours by phone. Although they would gladly have delivered and installed the replacement part, I asked that they mail it to me so that I could do the work myself. Their follow-up was also excellent: they called three times after the incident to make sure that everything was working satisfactorily.
As a professional computer trainer and consultant, I have recommended Micron to many clients and students. Thus far, I'm aware of no one who has been other than completely satisfied. Software and operating systems should only be this good!
