not my #1 choice, and i hope it isn't yours either

Cons: bad customer support, many software conflicts

I received this as a gift and spent too much money on direct calls to customer service. I had difficult setting up the scanner. After spending a month with customer service to no avail I was forced to return the product. Thirty days have gone by and I am still waiting for a reply to a letter requesting a refund for the un-necessary phone calls with customer service. I found serious conflicts with Pagis Pro 3.0. The help from Agfas and Pagis support page did not resolve the problem, a driver incompatability. For those who want to use other software beyond the bundled software-be careful. Possibly this issue will clear up in the future with a new driver release beyond v. 1.2.0.9.I would never recommend this product because the manufacturer does not stand by this product to my satification.
