When my ACER monitor died after two years of great service, I bought the SONY Multiscan 200ES. I have a deep brand loyalty for SONY products and just like that Best Buy TV ad, most of the electronics products in my household are Sony products.

The picture quality is superb, this monitor is a pleasure to look at. It is better than the NEC monitor that I have at work in every way.

Price is reasonable and I sincerely hope that it will last me longer than my previous monitor did.

The only negative thing I can mention about this monitor is that it has two extremely thin horizontal lines across the screen. I was told that this is present with every SONY Trinitron monitors. I wish SONY would take some measure to fix this bug.

All I can say is that it sure is a pleasant endeavor on part of SONY to get into the PC market.
