Yes, I do know HTML. Yes I can sit down and write my whole site by HTML, but why?!! Microsoft has a hit here! Everything from their great extensions and web-publishing tools is just about perfect!

First thing I noticed was the ease of use. True, it might not be perfect for an expert due to what they require, but it's perfect for the beginner and intermediate web designer! It took me about half a day to become fully proficient in using this great tool. Everything just seemed to be right where you'd expect it. The ease of switching between the windows for HTML and Web Preview and the Frontpage has saved me more time than imaginable. It also makes using frames the easiest thing in the world!

The web-publishing feature is just about perfect! No problems at all uploading my web site with it the first time, and every time after that! I had problems with some publishing tools not liking

The reports are great! In one place you can see how long each page takes to load, how many links are broken, and lots more!

The frontpage extensions I haven't used much. But it is nice having a hit counter actually on my site without having to look for scripts and links to other sites.

Overall, Frontpage 2000 is awesome! It has the look, feel, and ability of a professional program that makes life a lot easier for any web developer.
