These work well, but slow. I do not suggest using them for anything except major backup. I had tried saving important documents while working on them, but it took so long that I could have chiseled the info on a block quicker.
I was in the process of uploading a bunch of software that I had copied off of a cd (my cd drive is DVD capable and works too fast to use some application cd's,) when all of a sudden my zip 250 just shut off. I thought that it was a fluke, so I got another one, it did the same thing. I have to send them back to the factory, I don't like that.
I was using a zip 100 disk in it at the time.
