I love Scour.
I, as an anime fan, have had problems lately... First off, I don't know Japanese, second, I don't live in Japan. One thing I found a while ago was a website that had DragonBall Z episodes subtitled in english in .rm format. I was hooked... but slow transfer rates and hard-to-get-into servers eventually killed the site. I had about 30 episodes from that website... Recently, I came to college here in Colorado. I hooked up my computer, and voila, I found Scour.
In finding Scour, I have found my oasis... There are music videos, movies, episodes... ANYTHING you can think of that's media related. I can think of nothing better than scour right now. I have seen more DragonBall Z than any of my friends as well as I can see movies that are still in theaters. Now, while this is illegal, and I don't encourage it, it is still pretty spiffy.
So, really, the best thing about ScourExchange is that it makes it easy to get hard-to-find or untranslated media. I love it and swear by it.
ScourExchange is rather buggy, though. I can't share my episodes because so many people start to download so much information that it just gives me an evil blue screen of death and I have to exit the program. Also, lately, Scour has been really slow in transfer rates. But, if you can find the right people and you know what you're looking for, ScourExchange will become your ultimate multimedia portal.
