I have been using Apple products since the classic. Besides occasional problems, I never considered changing to another company. The name Apple was enough. But, no more... The 21" display has superb qualities, as long as it works. Unfortunately, it seems that too many of them will soon enough stop working, and as I understand it you either have to be lucky and have the monitor die within the warranty period, or be lucky enough to not experience a problem. Sadly apple will not acknowledge that the series is a flop and decided to instead loose a good chunk of customers frustrated with the monitor, the money the spend for it, and the lost faith in the company. The problem I experienced just as my warranty expired was a dead main deflection, a 500$ expense in my country to get it fixed. Out of 8 people I know using this monitor, 3 of us already had this problem.....My advice, you're better off in Vegas betting your money in blackjack, rather then on this monitor
