| JeremyDK's Full Review: Dell Dimension XPS T800r |
Let me just say that after trying out many Gateways, I am glad I chose Dell. There is no comparison between the reliability of a Dell over the reliability of a Gateway.
The one thing that I noticed right off is the sound of the processor as it was working was considerably loud on a Gateway, but on a Dell, quiet as a mouse. I have used my computer for everything from a gateway(no pun intended)to the internet to an alarm clock.
The speed of the Pentium III processor is amazing. I have played very high priced games with a very high demand for performance.
When I first bought my computer, I wanted to make sure I got what I paid for and when I talked to the sales representatives on the phone, they were very helpful to make sure I got the best PC I could get for my money.
I opted to get a DVD drive and a Re-writable disk drive in the second bay in the tower. This has proved to be very helpful when backing up a CD-ROM onto a recordable or re-writable CD.
Overall, I am very pleased with the performance and versatility of the machine. GO DELL!
