Tarzan just want good, free email. Tarzan not want Jane see bad smutmail.
Ok, Tarzan agree, promise of free email suck me right in. But only because it had something to do with word "FREE". Tarzan's preferred mode of email.
Tarzan agree with the whole world what pain in the Wazoo is to deal with volumes of smut mail.
But most people's first mistake is signing up for all the free newsletters and congo news.
Tarzan learned that signing up for anything like that almost always guarantees that your going to get on 1000 other lists. They're all going to have something to send you. And some it smell bad, like alligator in swamp!
From Tarzan's first AOL experiences, he learn that you don't put your name on any lists. After his first address was deluged with smutmail, Tarzan close, and open another. This time Tarzan keep mouth shut. Nobody knew him there. So they didn't send any of their junk. Hard to find Trazan in dark, in ejungle.
Anonymity can be a beautiful thing! Even Tarzan know that!
Tarzan not fill out any bio information in community setup areas either. Those lists can get out too. They're like forest roaches. They go everywhere.
Now something like the bio we fill out here at epinions is usually pretty safe, because these people are going to safeguard your privacy. But not everyone be so careful with Tarzan's personal belongings. Loin-cloth, knife, personal data.
Remember, the more personal information you offer, and the more supposedly helpful infomail you subscribe to, the more you open your mailbox up to email flotsam you really don't care for.
Tarzan feels your pain. We have all suffered the indignity. And I have these answers to it. They work for Tarzan. Tarzan Hope they help you.
That Tarzan's epinion! Mahalo for stopping by!
