I bought this motherboard about 4 monthes ago.. I write the review now because how can you really tell how good something is after a few weeks? This is a great motherboard for people who are looking to upgrade in the future. With both slot1 and socket7 support, you can drop a Celeron (with its 66 MHz frontside bus) in there right now and then in the future, when you have a little more cash, grab a Pentium III and you'll still be able to utilize the 133 MHz frontside bus. Of course, a Pentium II will work as well.. You get 3 SDRAM slots capable of using of 1 GB of total RAM.. 1 ISA and 6 PCI slots provide plenty of room for any add-ons you might have and the 4x AGP graphic slot provides great speed. I run an ATI All-In-Wonder 16 AGP on my board and the video performance is unbelievable. This is a great traditional motherboard, but it won't cut it for the overclockers of the world. Front side bus speed is set automatically (great for people building a computer for their first time, bad for overclockers). Basically, there are no overclocking options at all. So, if you're looking for ease of installation, a stable system, plenty of room to expand, and a company with a great history, the Tyan s1854 is for you.. If you're looking to run your Celeron 333 at 425 MHz, you should check out another board
