The Creative nVidia GeForce256 is a huge advancement in 3D Technology. With it's amazing 4x abilities, it can eat your RAM, or put incredibly pretty pictures on the screen.
With it's incredible T&L filtering, the GeForce is superior to any other 3D card out there, and with it's incdedible speed, you needn't anything else.
3DFX may boast a great card, what with the new Voodoo 5 6000, but c'mon, I don't have the plug in the thing takes! That's incredible, that a video card needs it's own plug-in. The GeForce doesn't, and with the new release of the Detonator Drivers, there's nothing stopping it, in some cases, the thing DOUBLES the frames you get.
The drivers it comes with allows for easy overclocking, and easy display access. TV-out is not an option, but not something you buy a new card for. If you want TV-Out, get the ASUS Deluxe GeForce.
On my Celeron 400 system, it's amazing, running perfectly smooth frames on Quake 3: Arena. Beautifully rendering older games, like Quake 2 and Shogo, and making a mockery of my 3D Applications. This is the card for you gamers and devolpers out there. Hopefully, nVidia can keep up this huge resurgence in 3D technology.
