| Phetzer's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7000 A400LT |
I've had my Inspiron for 9 months & I like it. I had a problem with the DVD rom drive, but they swapped it out & I have had no other problems. No long hold times on the phone for tech support & shipping was totally paid for & was overnight. Watching a DVD on the 15in. screen looks very good. I travel allot for a living & the Inspiron is very heavy so I bought a backpack carrying case so it's not so bad. It's heavy but then again think about what's in there. 14 gig hard drive, 15 inch screen, DVD drive & a large battery. The battery must be large when you have to power that large of a screen/drives combination for the time period that most people expect from todays laptops. If you can handle the weight there is no reason not to get the Inspiron.
Oh yes, the touch pad mentioned in the other post is pressure sensitive and adjustable.
