Pros: Great value, suitable for budget users because of great sound reproduction at a killer price.
Cons: Does not match up with high-end cards like the Live!, but then, this is supposed to be a budget card.

When I got this card, I was prepared to see a typical budget card: Not-so-great performance and features that are next-to-none. But Creative really impressed with the PCI 128. While some may argue that the actual product was designed by Ensoniq, are you going to sit around arguing? Let's get on to the sound!
I was pleasantly surprised by the card's complete set of features. While it is mostly a bard-bones card, it still supports 3D positional audio and does it quite well, which is an added plus for a card that is supposed to be in the budget market.
Sound reproduction is excellent. I fired up MP3s and games to test the card, and the sound was pleasing and nearly flawless, although there are better cards out there like the Live!.
The thing this card proves it that you don't need a top-of-the-line card to enjoy quality-sound. You can probably save a few bucks by opting for this instead of the more expensive Soundblaster Live! series, enabling you to have some money left to get some good speakers with FourPointSurround.
Budget-minded users will have hours of fun and listening pleasure with this card. Cheers!
