The Number 1 game of 1994, this Role Playing Game was not only amazing replayable but also quite beautiful (for its time). With outstanding artwork, lengthy plotlines and touching dynamics, this game redefined it's genre on the PC Platform. The game switched between 3 modes: first person movement, strategic fighter sequence, and menu based decision making. This was an intense interpretation of the books it was based on. The most compelling feature about this game turns out to be its memorable music. Two games based on BAK's success were Return To Krondor and Betrayal at Antara.
After such success back in the day, Sierra now offers this game for free (also to publicize Betrayal at Antara).
