I have been using hotmail for 3 years now. I do enjoy it but there have been some problems too. Overall I would recommend it.

Hotmail has lots of features, filing system, spam protection, security. It's easy to use, and has an easy to ready layout. One nice thing about it is if your PC crashes, you don't lose what's in your hotmail account, its' always there til you delete it, or til you take up too much space and hotmail starts deleting it for you(they always warn you first). Some people may not have this problem , but thanks to my husband our PC crashes all the time and has to be reformatted. I also like being able to set my own preferences and having a signature on my emails.

Now for the bad. Like I was saying if you take up too much space they will warn you, about 3 days warning, before they delete all the oldest messages til you are under 2000K. Also the security is good but not foolproof, if you sign in and then go to another page without logging out, you can simply click the back button and go right back in. This is a nice feature so you don't have to sign in all the time, however if you keep private stuff in there and share the computer, you better close that browser window when you're done or ACTUALLY log out.

Overall I really have been happy with hotmail and I will continue to use it, I would give it a B+
