The Zip USB Drive has been the least problematic peripheral I have ever owned. I use my ZIP drive with an iMac DV Special Edition and couldn't be happier with both. The ZIP drive writes at surprisingly fast speeds and almost never has errors when saving onto disks. In addtion, the QuickSync software makes it effortless to back up selected files and folders automatically without any worries whatsoever. And since the technology isn't the newest around, you can pick up a 100 MB ZIP USB for $60-$80 if you look around on the net. The ZIP drive is the best choice for inexpensive removable storage and is also the most universal removable storage you can find.
