I purchased a Canon BJC 4300 2 years ago, and it has been a trial. The color is not uniform at all times, it uses ink at an incredible rate and, since the color ink is in a tri-color cartridge, that's expensive. It has not been the best buy for me. It has also proven unreliable, i.e., I never know what a finished job will look like. In addition, though a minor irritation, the paper output tray is too short, and has a 'tab' at the end where the paper butts up to it, thus one has to watch the first page to prevent this, or put a plain sheet of paper on the output tray to make a clear path for the paper coming out of the printer.
