Wow, this little golfball camera is great. I've had it for about a year. I can't remember exactly how much it cost, but I believe it was around $100. Now I think that you can get them for only about $50. Anyways, it is just a wonderful camera. The software that comes with it allows you to do timelapses and stop-motion animation (One of my hobbies). I hear that it is great for videoconferencing (I have too slow of a connection though). I'm sure it would also make a great WebCam. It comes with a good stand. It has a little hole on the bottom so you can screw it onto a tripod. It has a little manual focus ring on the front which is easy to use. The resolution is only so-so, but I can live with it. I just love the little thing!
If you are looking for an affordable camera for your iMac (or USB enabled PC) or if you are interested in inexpensive timelapse and stop-motion animation, this is the camera for you.
