| Suburban's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7500 A433LT |
Not as durable as I would hope from Dell, but they will probably fix it free, though I will have to go without a computer for a while. The top of the casing/the back of the screen is cracking at the hinges. I don't think this will cause the computer to fall apart, but it does worry me. Most of the time, it only sits on my desk.
I haven't had too many disasters, at least when I compare it to my roommates Pressario. A virus forced me to reinstall Windows, but that's not Dell's fault.
I bought this as a "desktop replacement laptop". It is powerful, and has a nice big screen, but is is quite heavy and bulky.
The modem is the fastest that I've ever used. It ran at 48333bits with it's V.90 on the same line as a similarly equipped desktop with 56k at 46000bits.
Oh, and it's got 8MB of VRAM, to my knowledge the most available for a notebook. Great for visual programs, and gaming (won't play every game, but most).
