Kisses4Sal's Full Review: Crash Bandicoot for PlayStation 1
So I got Crash Bandicoot 2 for Xmas, and fell in love with the game, so of course I went and bought Crash Bandicoot the first one. I am not dissapointed with my purchase in the least. The game is challanging, humorous, etc.
I will say it is very tough, at least for me, Some people can pick up on games faster than others, I guess. The difference between one and two, is in one you have to do your levels PERFECT. Well heck I lucky if I make it through a level without dying 15 times. But that is the thrill of it I guess, the satisfacation of finally getting a level just right.
I also shouldn't of played Crash 2 before Crash 1, because of course when makers come out with a new game, things get a little better on the way. In two you can slide, and high jump and belly flop, In one you just spin, but of course you don't need to do all those things in one tehe.
I guess the only real complaint I have about this game is how it saves, you have to do a bonus, and if you don't make it, well you are up the creek without a paddle. And if you die, you go back to a level you already did.
The way to get gems was a little confusing at first, thank goodness for the internet, I got hints from there.
but overall this was a great game, great graphics, and hours of fun
