I recently downloaded connection software for FreeAtLast.coms free internet software. Figuring that it would be like all of the rest of the freebies and have a continuous ad bar. I quickly found out that this was not true. Yes, there are ads, but you control how long you see them. They pop up in windows in the corner of you screen in very small boxes. You simply close these windows as any other window, and the nice thing is they are not constantly popping up. They only pop-up every now and then. I average a connection of 43,000bps, which is faster than my Lycos, Alta-vista, or NetZero connections. They had plenty of dial-up numbers for my area, and I always get connected on my very first try.
The download is very small, and very easy to set-up after downloading. In the program is a mail alert program that pops up to tell you when you have mail in the free account they also give you.
