It sure doesn't suck!

Pros:best HTML editor since HTML was invented
Cons:none!

Bare Bones Software used to use the tagline "It doesn't suck!" to describe BBEdit, and it rings so true that it's scary.

I've used many an HTML editing tool in my time, and this one offers the most control with the smallest amount of inconvenience. There is the oft-described tool bar, used to do just about anything you'd want to do in HTML with about 4 clicks - one to bring up the options (if any) for the code you want to do, 3 (or more, depending) clicks to set the options for the code, and then click "OK" or hit return to apply them.

Syntax coloring makes code easy to distinguish from the text on the page, and easy to tell one type of tag (i.e. HREF, IMG, etc.) from another at a glance. Built in GREP makes it easy to do complex searches (once you get the hang of grep, but that's another matter :) and complex find/replaces. A built-in FTP client allows you to edit files remotely when necessary, and if it doesn't do what you want it to out of the box, their's either an AppleScript already written to do it, or you can make your own plug-in in a matter of minutes with the customizable tools built right in.

It doesn't get any better than this!
