If you are in the market for a graphics workstation this is it!
I purchased this machine from the Apple online store the first day it was announced and have had nothing but good things to say about it since it arrived at my door. I use it to run Adobe PhotoShop and other graphics programs for business and personal needs. It is by far the fastest computer out there for running PhotoShop. Also I use it with my FireWire equipped Sony camcorder to edit video in Adobe Premiere, for which it works brilliantly.
This is a great machine for anyone who is serious about graphics work, but if you just want to play games and surf the web save yourself some cash and just buy some bargain basement no name PC and a Playstation.
Some Recommendations:
-get a two button USB mouse to go with it to take full advantage of the operating systems features, and for the simple reason that the included round mouse is extremely hard to use
-opt for the most RAM you can afford to improve the performance of programs esp. graphics programs like PhotoShop
-if your on a budget or a matching monitor is not that important to you a Sony ES series monitor compliments the system well and is of the same quality as the Apple monitor
-there is no need to buy an Apple extended warranty on the G4 as almost all breakdowns occur during the first month which is covered by the limited warranty, I have owned many Macintosh computers and have never had any hardware breakdowns
