| TrueToTony's Full Review: HP Pavilion 6530PC |
I got my Hewlett Packard Pavilion desktop computer back in October when my husband purchased it for me for my birthday. Before that we'd had an older Packard Bell and it was giving me lots of problems. So, this new computer is like a breath of fresh air.
My HP came with a 433Mhz Intel Celeron processor so it is much faster than the old Packard Bell that I had before. It also has 64 MB of RAM and a 6.4 GB hard drive. There is more room on this computer than I'll ever need since I am just using it at home. I mostly use it for email, internet access to play games and reward programs like Epinions. My husband uses our computer for doing research for school. I may be starting to work publishing a new magazine in the near future so I'm sure this new computer will come in handy with that too.
The 56K modem is much faster at connecting to the internet than the one that I had before too.
It also came with Windows 98 which I had never used before but it is very close to Windows 95 and I've not had any problems making the change between the two.
There are Polk audio stereo speakers with this computer which sound pretty good but are a little cheap looking. That is the only downside to this computer that I've found so far.
I'd recommend an HP to someone in the market for a good desktop computer.
