Poorly Designed Card

Pros: Cheaper than a Live! Value

This card can't shake a stick at the SoundBlaster Live! Value… I was highly disappointed with it. Upon installing it into my new Athlon system, my system locked at startup (Win98 and 2000). After exchanging it for another card (same model), the same happened. I could not find any hardware jumpers to change the card's resources… basically, this card disabled my computer. And Creative's tech support was almost non-existent. This experience also happened to my friend, who owns a PIII-800.

The cards that I have heard running did not even sound that good. One's money would be much better spend on a nice Live! Value or Platinum.
