Pros:Simple, quick, easy,
Cons:Price

If life was as easy as burning CDs than we would all be living in the lap of luxury. It's simple, it's quick, and best of all, it requires little stimulation of the brain, minimal at most. The toughest task in this process is purchasing your burner and the program, about $300 and $100, respectively.

Burning your CDs, whether they are data CDs or music CDs, is a rather simple process when using Easy Cd Creator. If you are a novice, the program provides you with a step by step manager, called the wizard, in which you simply click what type of CD you desire to create, type in a name for it, and choose your files that you want copied. It keeps track of how much space is left on the CDR(W) and if your making a musical CD, it tells you how many minutes remain free. If you are a more advanced user, you simply select your files you want to copy and you're done. Easy as pie.

Easy Cd Creator also includes some additional programs that come handy if you are a music enthusiast. One of those programs is called Spin Doctor which can copy tracks from a musical CD onto your hard drive, a process called "Ripping". This is useful when you want to create your very own music mixes. Another program that comes in handy is the sound editor that Adaptec includes with Easy CD Creator. Here, you can fix up some tracks that may be flawed by either clicks or stops. There are other functions you can perform, but I haven't had the time to actually explore them all. This sound editor, however, is not as advanced as Sound Foundry's Sound Forge, yet, it can still be very useful.

Adaptec Easy CD Creator is a great program for burning CDs because it makes it quick and easy. No sweating profusely, no gray hairs, no bumps and bruises will be needed to jumpstart this baby. Unless you absolutely need bumps and bruises, I suggest you go with the "Easy" way.
