FREE LONG DISTANCE -- OH MY GOD!!
Made directly for the purpose of intensifying multi-player gaming by adding direct communication for several players at once, Roger Wilco is at the top of its category. With this nifty program, a free program I may add, you are able to directly connect with people from anywhere in the world, even if you only have a normal dial-up modem. Within seconds, you can talk to your best friend 1000 miles away, FOR FREE!!
If you play games over the Internet such as Half-Life or Quake, Roger Wilco can and will increase the amount of fun. The players you meet everyday become voices instead of letters on the screen. Also, it's much easier for strategy with your teammates over Roger Wilco than it is to type everything you think your team should do. If you have a head-set microphone for your computer, even easier!
For those of you Internet buffs whom don't play video games online, Roger Wilco still could serve as a friendly and useful online tool. We all have online friends or relatives who live many miles away. Recall your last long distance telephone bill? $200 calling your son at college? Download Roger Wilco and talk to him, directly, over the Internet for FREE.
YES, Long Distance for FREE!
It sounds great from my Epinion, I know, but there are a few drawbacks. When there are several people communicating with you at once over Roger Wilco, it becomes very CHAOTIC. Imagine 3-way calling with 6 people instead of only 3. Buy a few more bottles of Advil, you'll need it. Also, if all users have low speed connections, their voices will break in and out quite often. If your system is old, it can be extremely get setup.
Nonetheless, its a great program that all Internet buffs should utilize. 3 out of 5 for on my rating scale.
10-4, over and out!
