I have yet to purchase this laptop, but from what I have seen, this is a wonderful piece of machinery!!! I will be purchasing this laptop within 3 months from now, and I can't wait. I'm looking into the 2805-S401 model which packs a lot of power at only $2399.00.
At our local Best Buy, the worker let me surf the net on one of their laptop models, I quickly stated that I wanted to try out the Toshiba Satellite 2805-S401. He took it off the shelf and let me get on the net. Let me tell ya, this computer is FAST!! And with the 256K on die cache, it's sure to go as fast as it says. It zooms and zips through all your tasks at a whopping 700MHZ, and to top it all off, it runs on 128MB of RAM. It can store whatever you want it to with it's 20.0 Hard Drive, which is HUGE!!
Please, look into getting the Toshiba Satellite 2805-S401 model. You will be VERY happy with your decision. OH! One more thing! it comes with a DVD-ROM drive so you can watch all your favorite movies while on a plane, or anywhere else you happen to be. It includes a 1.44 Floppy Drive as well, 2 USB Ports, and a 56K Modem Port along with a Ethernet Port along side. It also includes 2 Notebook card ports. and to view whatever you put into this machine, you can view it on the 15.0" screen!
