First let me start by saying, I HATE PAYING FOR THE INTERNET. Okay with that out of the way lets begin. After a year of putting up with America Online I decided to drop their service. There were other isp's available to me in my area, but I really did not feel like shelling out the $19.99 a month. So I decided to give netzero a try. I must say that I was impressed. It is a lot better then I expected it to be. I connect at the same speed that I connected to AOL, which alone is enough to persuade others to leave that isp. I then found out what the whole advertisement thing was about. This un-closeable banner opens up and you have to watch adds while on the net. What's the big deal? Why do people complain about this? With my 19 inch monitor I hardly notice the thing, and it does not interfere with anything I am doing online. And with all the services today like All Advantage, people have banners on their desktops anyway. What's the big deal of having one more? So my advice to you is to go for it. What can you lose, its not like you are paying for it.
